Driver/Warehouse Associates serves to help oversee daily operations in the Food Warehouse & Distribution center. Local food donation pickups include loading and unloading the box truck. Assist with proper inventory records for perishable and non-perishable donations. Assists in preparation of Manna Ministry’s food box distribution program. Leads and works closely with volunteers.

Availability:
Full Time
Monday – Friday; 7:30am – 4:30pm (weekends/holidays as scheduled)
Closed on Saturday & Sunday (unless otherwise scheduled)
Compensation: $ 16.97/hour

Job Specific Qualifications:
· Meet driver qualifications with ability to drive a box truck or company vehicle (no CDL required)
· Experience with pallet jack and industrial forklift operations; willingness to learn
· Basic knowledge of inventory management and recordkeeping; willingness to learn
· Ability to perform physical activity for prolonged periods of time
Career Summary (not all-inclusive list):
The Driver/Warehouse Associate assists in daily operations of the warehouse to include inventory, housekeeping, organization, stocking and driving company vehicles to pickup donations (as scheduled). Assist in maintaining appropriate records for inventory and donations received. Assist in weekly preparation and delivery of Manna food box distribution. Utilize proper safety measures when operating machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks and vehicles.
All team members may be asked to complete other duties as assigned by the leadership/management with an expectation to complete these assignments as requested.

Since 1948, the Rescue Mission has continued a tradition of comprehensive care to those in crisis in our community. The homeless, the hungry, the chemically addicted, the impoverished and the hopeless have all found a warm welcome at the Rescue Mission.
Men, women and children have found a safe place and compassionate friends in their darkest moments. The Rescue Mission is open 24 hours/day and 365 days/year and provides food, clothing, shelter, an on-site clinic, Recovery Program, case management, and aftercare services. All people in crisis are served regardless of race, gender, creed, age, or ethnicity.
In addition, the Rescue Mission operates a Donation and Recycling Center, 2nd Helpings – Gallery and Shop, Thrift 460, and has an online store presence. All proceeds from sales benefit the programs of the Rescue Mission.
